My name is Michael Barany and I am an experienced software engineer and technical leader with 15+ years of professional experience. I am very passionate about building quality software. Most recently I was a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Stash where I have been using Ruby, Postgres, Kafka, Docker, Terraform, AWS and DataDog.
I have a reputation as the “monolith decomposition guy”, but It’s definitely subjective. A modular monolith can do very well with a small engineering team.
